After experiencing Rail Explorers in Boone during the daytime, we returned to try the Lantern Ride and discovered that the same stretch of railroad can feel completely different after sunset.
From daytime views across the Iowa countryside to cooler evening temperatures, sunset scenery, lanterns, and a nighttime return trip, I compare both experiences and share which ride I would recommend.
