We’re headed to Universal Studios Orlando this September, and I couldn’t be more excited! This trip is shaping up to be the perfect mix of thrills, chills, and convenience—and here’s how we planned it all out.
We started by booking the core of our trip through Costco Travel. If you haven’t used them before, I highly recommend it. The package made planning incredibly simple and offered some great perks, like bundle savings and extra Costco Shop Cards. It’s definitely worth checking out if you're planning a theme park getaway!
For accommodations, we chose Universal's Dockside Inn and Suites. It's one of Universal's value hotels, but don’t let that label fool you—it’s stylish, spacious, and has a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for decompressing after long park days. We’re especially excited about the two-bedroom suites, giving us plenty of room to stretch out (and stash all the Halloween Horror Nights merch we’ll probably pick up).
One of the highlights of this trip will be Halloween Horror Nights. We didn’t hold back—we booked the RIP Tour directly through Universal’s website. That means we’ll get guided access to the haunted houses, priority entry, and behind-the-scenes stories from Universal’s terrifyingly talented guides. With this being one of the most popular HHN seasons yet, we wanted to make sure we could experience everything without waiting in endless lines.
Right now, we’re counting down the days and watching for the final HHN house announcements. I’ll be sure to share more once we’re back—complete with highlights, reviews, and maybe a scream or two.
